We’re continuing our AI marketing series and this week we’re talking about the best AI marketing tactics for small business.
I’ve been in online entrepreneurship since 2010 – first as a content marketer and now I run a sales training company that specializes in training women-owned businesses. In other words, I have seen a lot, experimented with a lot, and made a lot of mistakes along the the way. I’ve learned a lot of things the hard way so you don’t have to and there are two things I’ll be discussing today that I avoided for a long time and kept me stuck in business.

This free guide details the 8 step process I used to build a network of referral partners that have sent me up to 300 leads in a day.
That’s why when AI marketing came out, I got so excited. Because I saw how it could fix the two gaps I’ll be discussing today: volume and data.
How to Use AI Marketing to Increase Volume
If you want to make money, people need to know who you are. The business that markets the most typically makes the most money. The problem is most businesses don’t market enough – either because they don’t have the capacity or don’t know the numbers.
I think it’s because businesses don’t know the numbers. At least for me, once I have a target number, then I can adjust my business to try to hit the target.
So here’s the number most businesses don’t understand:
A consumer will need to see you online at least 40 times before they trust you enough to buy something from you.
With that in mind, I can tell you that most small businesses just aren’t marketing enough to make the kind of money they want to make.
AI marketing can now help with this. In my company we have 5’xed our visibility thanks to AI Marketing tools that:
- Pretty much tell us what to do (more on that in the next section)
- Reduce the cognitive load of coming up with keywords, topics, scripts, descriptions, etc
- Make video editing fast, fun and easy
It’s no surprise then that we’ve tripled our inbound leads and our sales are up this month from last month. Because at this point in my business, it’s a math problem.
How to Use AI Marketing to Create Better Marketing
The other reason I love AI Marketing is for it’s ability to collect data and pretty much tell you what to do. I used to spend hours doing keyword research and creating scripts for YouTube videos. Or, at one point, I was paying someone thousands of dollars a month to handle my YouTube channel with lackluster results in comparison to what I’m getting now.
Tools like VidIq gathers the channel data and tells me where the opportunities are. I then capitalize on the opportunities.
It’s made our marketing far more strategic and based on data so we make better decisions. And it’s reduced a lot of cognitive load taken up by researching so that we have time to be more innovative and creative.
Final Thoughts
By using AI Marketing to increase the volume or your marketing and create effective content based on data you can increase your reach and visibility quite easily. It doesn’t get much easier than this. The question now becomes whether or not you are going to use it.
